;- I loved the torture of Glori, well, pliers to teeth, that's gonna leave a mark! I should explain that I meant I loved that Parrish hung the guy out the window. Made me give her a standing O For the liberated Cosmo reading chicks out there, I think he means O-vation. Err, or maybe not then...

Geez, GR, still not over it, eh?
Actually, you're right I could have phrased that better with this crowd. Oh, well. Bon Na Croin!
BTW, How's the road rash? No permanent life threatening, performance debilitating injuries I hope.

Okay, I finished Crash in Maths today (I did all my maths for about a wekk last lesson). It took sooo long for me to get hold of it but hopefully I'll be buying it soon. ;D I really liked the story as a whole, but here's a breakdown of what I thought of different parts...(even though you're sick of them already ) I loved: - The bit where she dresses up, and Mei gets jealous... - Merv...he had/has so much character, and is kinda sly...manages to hoodwink parrish at the beginning - Kat's appearance...as soon as I read about the Pan Sat's I knew she was going to appear, and wondered how, cause of what you read about the athletes in other books - good work MDP ;D - The bit where the scales disapear from Parrish's cheek...it was just a passing mention I think, but it showed the influence of the Eskaalim. I liked: - Brilliance...or the old hag...whatever...It was a nice touch to have her Homo Erectus and immortal, going slightly crazy and all-out wierd. (Just so you know, I thought Parrish was going to kill her) - Daac selling himself...I found this kinda funny...and ironic!! I want a fourth book purely to see his reaction to the world as he knows it crumbling. *maniacal laughter* - Teece, how he seems to get over Parrish, but is still manipulated by her personality and the Eskaalim...I especially liked the bit near the beginning where he says Parrish is a drug. - The way the dizzies affected Parrish - although to whole Amorato thing was a bit wierd - I kinda expected her to react differently, and didn't particularly like Glori, so I liked that bit...although the punishemnt went to far!. Well, there's that...Glad to hear we might be getting a 4th, Parrish just doesn't seem to be finished yet!

I loved Crash but now am desperate to find out what happens next. Knowing Parrish she would have put her loyalty to her friends ahead of herself and killed Brilliance (as Parrish said, "There is no choice". I would hope that because Parrish is special, instead of shape changing she would have evolved (into Super Parrish LOL!)
I am sad about Parrish losing Teece although I agree obviously Tingle wasn't as bad as I thought she was. I was also interested that when Parrish & Daac were 'auditioning' for Monk, Daac almost told her that he cared about her. (am i imagining this?)

all the things you've supposed are spot on. Whoo! Ambiguious ending confirmed, then! ;D Nice observations, Lou. I was sad about Parrish losing Teece, too - he's such a good guy.

mmm, nice work Lou...Super Parrish sounds good!
I've been passing the books around the family - my brother is reading the third one, and my dad's on the first - it should be interesting what they say!

So far, my dad reckons the eskaalim is kind of an analog for environmental destruction (I think that was it)
Not sure about my brother - but he read the first two in about three days, so he must like them at least a little

And Chir - don't think that it's all over for Parrish and Teece yet! MDP Whoo! Parrish is down, but not out! XD I think Parrish is Teece's weak spot - he really wants to be faithful to Tingle, but he just can't say no to our girl... Sheyana, your dad must be one of these intelligent types, from the sounds of it!
