I would like to add in BIG LETTERS that our member CASSANDRA LOVELL also did the internal illustrations (which I've just seen) for the books.
Fabulous job Cass!
I'm so proud of you all and please go and add it to the members achievements page.

OK folks, the game is now available at www.whitemicegames.com.au The release was done by Bruce Sterling, one of the originators of the cyberpunk genre. We also wish to thank Marianne for the support she has given us, allowing us the rights to Nylon Angel to develop the game, and for her immense help during the launch and the whole convention. We wish to publically thank CJ, Neyjour and Cassandra for their artwork (you will love it when you see it - all the conference did). Please look up the websites for these talented ladies (links should be posted on our website soon). There was a strong gaming strand at the Conference (as in the theory of ...). One of the interesting conclusions of that was basically reached (including by people who write computer games) is that the way we have presented Nylon Angel as a dice-rolling, pen and paper game will give people much more freedom to explore the world that Marianne has created. It was decided that, no matter how good the programmers, no computer game can currently offer the amount of options that the personal game does (although some are getting a lot better). We still intend to try and make the computer game an option, but will need your suppport (in buying the game, telling your friends and posting links to us on your site {if you don't want to do the others}) and feedback (e-mail us on reactions) to get this done. The bits of the game that are of particular interest are the bio-weapons rules, which are very up-to-date (the most recent real drugs hit the news only a bit over a month ago) and the combat rules. The combat rules were approved by neo-gamers as being easy to learn and by ex-SAS (military experts) as being realistic (on that note - I just discovered that I now have a military medal that I have to pick up). Once again, I cannot express how impressed people were with the artwork. Please nominate the artists for your next national SF art awards. They deserve it.

When I have a chance to re-scan them all and update my website I'll post links to the higher res images here; since they're kinda small in the book.

Oh, naughty Cass. I notice who you have changed your icon to. Have you read her description amongst the NPCs yet? Please enter the competition for Conflux.

Well as Cary says, the con was great and the launch went off very well. I then had the opportunity the following weekend to appear at the Supanova Pop Expo. The cosplay was sensational. I met lots of interesting people and I hope generated interest for the books and game. I met lots of Stargate fans, as I was appearing with two Stargate authors, Sabine Bauer and Sonny Whitelaw. Of course I tried to convert them to Parrish Sheyana came and helped out on the second day, so she might post her own thought about it. MDP

LOL, Supanova was wierd, lots of my friends go and spend large amounts of money on mainly merchandising stuff...and they were all wondering what on earth I was doing there! Quite a fun time was had though, we ran out of showbags on the conflux stall really early in the day, so there wasn't much we had to do!

Cary Sorry but I had an Art Thoery Assignment due and couldn't get a portfolio to them in-time, if my work had been accepted I wouldn't have been able to afford the entrance fee anyway. Sorries! There's always next year.

Oooh good grrl. Well maybe you should be in marketing! BTW How's that website of yours coming along? Have you received your copy of the game yet?
Don't forget to tell anyone who's interested that they can purchase it online from White Mice's secure site.
Anyway, I'm putting an early word to Patchers that we might be looking for comic illustrations for Parrish.
I can't promise it will go ahead, but its in the wind...

Woah! cool! I hope it goes ahead, and that people who can actually draw on this site do some good stuff. (That basically excludes me...everyone else seems to have some talent ;D).
