I've managed to do everything properly so far (i.e Save the boy from drowning, save all the boys from the warehouse explosion) XD
I am very much enjoying it.

Good to hear... ^_^
So apart from RPGs and point-and-clicks, do you play any other genres? Survival horror and action-adventure have to go on my list.

Survival Horror?
Despite the fact that horror scares the hell out of me (Which is the obvious intention of that genre), I must admit that I do tend to play them a bit. Resident Evil and Silent Hill being my two personal favs. Cliched, I know, as everyone likes them, but I grew up with the originals.
As for Action/Adventure I am playing Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams at the moment. I like most games, unless they are sport orientated like football, or racing.. although I can sometimes like racing too. Depends on my mood, really.

Silent Hill... One of my favourite game series EVER... along with Project Zero a.k.a Fatal Frame. I have the first Onimusha game, but I haven't gotten too far through it so far. I got distracted by Genji, Tomb Raider and Final Fantasy XII and haven't gone back to it yet. Wow, so much of my life is spent playing games. XD

Mine too, actually.
My current obsession now though, is Heroes. XD
I love it so much, I wish they would make a video game based on that. <3

I haven't managed to catch any Heroes yet - I think they stuck it on satellite TV and I only have terrestrial at the moment. I do plan to watch it eventually though.

What I want to see is a PP boxing game for the Gametrak, or some other physical medium. I think that would be more appropriate, none of this sitting down to play and twiddling your thumbs. She's an all-action heroine, so a game that really makes you sweat would be better. Actually, that's my idea of the perfect game: a good storyline, combined with actually getting to move around while playing.

Ooh, that'd be quite cool... Parrish for the Wii, or something. Though then I'd have to buy a Wii on top of my laptop, MegaDrive, PS1, PS2 and Xbox... Waaa, I'm so spoilt!!

Making a video game, although an excellent idea, would most likely turn out a failure.
The problem now is that the video game industry has evolved to the next main stream entertainment medium, commanding billions of dollars. So unless the product being made had a large budget similar to a movie you are very unlikely to penetrate the market and make a sufficient return, aka, no profit.
As for the Genre i think the whole concept of a Parrish CyberPunk RPG would be fantastic, similar to Deus Ex. The idea of a small action game would just not do the story justice and going the route of an FPS is just ridiculously hard as the market is flooded with new FPS games every month. As for game companies, in my opinion the only game developer that could take the idea and turn it into a solid successful game are BioWare.
But in the end i think its just high hopes..... unlikely to ever happen.

Agreed, but it's nice to have the dream. Ooh, BioWare... the only one of their games I've played is Jade Empire, which I loved. They did KotOR too, right? I'm not a huge Star Wars buff, so I never bothered with it, but I've heard it's excellent.

Story driven games work best in an adventure game format like Broken Sword, Tex Murphy and Fahrenheit. Deus Ex is actually an first person shooter game crossed with the adventure game genre in terms of story and characters, also carrying across a few RPG elements. Large games are financially risky these days to make due to their high budgets needed to create AAA quality content. I would love to see a short, simple, low risk 2d adventure game be made in this universe. That would be really cool, a fan game
