What's your favourite movie and why? My all-time favourite is Ginger Snaps - It's a Canadian independent cult horror movie and it rocks... Quote: "Out by sixteen or dead in this scene, but together forever."

yup thats me i'm an action chick, and an absolute junkie for the stuff! heck i'm into anime and manga, most girllies squirm at that stuff, why, i can never understand i mean its so poetic and artistic far superior to most animation (or even some film) i mean Ghost in the shell proves that!!
(my avatar major Kusanagi!)
Tarentino is a master!!!!
and then the Matrix Trilogy is like my favourite trilogy (action again!)

but in truth i wavered in my fanship towards the end, i mean, after they went to college it began to loose some of its shine, i actually missed the enitre last series i dont even know how it all ends! i kinda wised i had of stayed a fan till the end, but it just got lost for me
But i love the early ones, i mean i know them off by heart, i even have tons on the music from the show, oh and i even read most of the books released to!

The first three seasons were the best, but there were some real hilights after that, too. I seriously need to start selling Buffy stuff... I have so many of the books I don't have room for them all!

I'm a huge movie buff so it's hard for me to pin down an absolute fave too, but to make a shortlist of sorts, off the top of my head, in no particular order:
Labyrinth (omigod so much fun! go the furry red dancing demons!) , The Last Samurai (that is such a beautiful movie), Matrix (even though the last one was strange and made me CRY!), Meet Joe Black (I was watching it last night, great story, Brad Pitt v. v. spunky) and I gonna stop now cos I'd go on forever. Everyone really must see Labyrinth, it pretty hard to get a hold of cos it an older movie and it hasn't been re-released, but it is on the Disney channel now and again and in some video stores. FIND IT! WATCH IT! DANCE AROUND LIKE FURRY HEAD-THROWING DEMONS!! ;D

You guys don't have Labyrinth? They have it in the shops everywhere here! Try amazon.co.uk or something... Though David Bowie's tight leggings should NOT be allowed... *represses urge to vomit*

I'm always on the lookout for a new copy, but I have never ever seen one. And only in two video stores that I've been to did they actually have it. Thank god for the Disney channel, or I'd never have seen it to begin with!
David Bowie's tights....yes. Well. That we could do without. His hand juggling was sooo cool though... but that was actually some other guy I think...

I bet there're tons of places online that sell it. Another one of my favourite movies: The Crow. Quote: "It can't rain all the time."

Not a movie, but an anime called Trigun...
As Wolfwood the resident assassin priest walks towards the bus with a 6ft cross on his back, a passenger says
"Thats one well equipped dead guy"
Oh, I suppose you have to see it..

Vell my vittle virgin, are you in vor a treat! Ok ok.. I am not count dracula.. You have seen some of the cooly ones no doubt! Ghost in the Shell was a classic! and Vampire Hunter D is seeeeeexxxxyyyy... Some of my favs are: Cowboy Bebop, Neon Genisis Evangleon, Goku Midnight Eye, Bubblegum Crisis Orginal & Tokyo 2040, Gasaraki, Samurai X, Trigun (of course!), Hellsing, Akira, Orphen... But there are so many.. I usually pick stuff under Action/comedy, cause sometimes the romance titles are just a little bit to romancey for my taste, fine to read it, not so fine to see it acted out on screen.. specially tentacle monsters.. EEEKKKK! Check out some of the american Anime/Manga websites like www.animenation.com and www.animecastle.com and see whats doing on them, they usually have top ten lists of what people are buying and such like, and that usually means they are worth checking out. Or just browsing usually titles and stuff jump out at you., Although sometimes you might find you only see Yu-Gi-Oh.. then run... run very fast...
