WOW! ;D
I can not wait for this. Especially love the concept of free-mind and logic-mind being seperate.
Released in 2006? WHEN in 2006?
*teleports to Australia and does a sneaky inflitration of Marianne's house to abduct all her Crash Deluxe and God's Way files*

Hi Phedre,
Thanks. it is (had to be) different from Parrish but I hope you will all finding it engrossing. Still has strong themes of anarchy and finding your way.

Looks good, I'll have to look out for the first one...when it arrives. 2006 is far too far away! The two mind thing should definitely be interesting...so many possibilities. I do believe I'll be looking forward to it, but in between times I'll have to content myslef with something else...hmmm...*wanders off to examine bookshelves*

Hi everyone,
just to confuse matters I've changed the topic name. The series now has a new name (The Sentient's of Orion) and the first book will be called "Dark Space".
The button on my website has changed and I'll also be posting a new excerpt.

Just after reading the excerpt.
When I read a book I cant just grab hold of it and jet through the whole thing in an few hours like a lot of people. Every aspect has to be thought out in my mind, I have a picture in my head of the surrounding area, the people, what they wear…even things like the old newspaper blowing and tumbling on the wind. However, the point that i am trying to make here is, that your writing gives so much rich detail that my mind can go insane with ideas and thoughts, I love when I get a book like that, and it was a big part of why I loved the whole Parrish series. I am just glad to see that it’s carried along in this. Can’t wait to get my hands on a copy

Hi 4rc,
thank you for saying so!! One of the hard things to learn about the craft of writing is how much information to give. Too much is boring. Too little is shallow. I try hard to find the balance and choose evocative words and ideas.
I'll try and put the new sample up today. bests MDP

Hi all, next week is my delivery date for Dark Space the first book in the next series.
I'm also delivering a film treatment called 'Stalking Daylight' (you guys are gonna love this story!) to Matt Carter at Enchanter Film Prod company. This has been a collaboration with the editor of Simulacrum, Lynne Jamneck.
So while things have been quite for a while, I hope next year brings about a few interesting things for you guys to read/see.
The next newsletter (if Amy has time) will be out soon and I'll have more detail in that.

Whoa! At first I was like 'Huh?' and then I was like 'Ooo' then I was like 'Wha the fu?' and then 'Yo!'... ... Why don't I live in Aussie. Why..Why?! Well, with all those ramblings out the way, it looks great. Definitly makes me want to keep reading! Hmm...this gives me an idea.. <Runs to get idea posted>
