Clunks and cracks are probably OK - that's the most popular answer I get from active mates. Actual Pain isn't. Mild discomfort ... keep an eye on it. As for styles that aren't harsh on joints - I'll try and give something concrete here. Soft Kung Fu, kickboxing, judo, wing chun kung fu, almost all grappling (you "tap out" when a joint lock is going to hurt so you shouldn't be damaged), hell - thai boxing. Missed loads of course. They all contain stretching excerscise, but that's nothing to be afraid of - that's trying to increase flexibility in the joint's normal direction of motion - and you only have to stretch as much as you can handle.

You want creaky bones? Try ice hockey and being rammed into walls and cracking both patella's. Then ride motorbikes since the age 14 and of course theres been the odd ... um, arr misunderstanding with the odd hard surface, needless to say everything from knee's to back creak and crick quit happily. Oh by the way, I do have kangaroos living in my back yard. Actually on a good morning when I go for a spin on the pushbike at six I actually have the fun of racing the little buggers (when I say little I mean 5 feet tall). Not to mention yellow belly blacks and the odd red back. I'd have to agree with Mouse actually and say Roo was up there with my favourite characters along with Teece, Ibis and of course Parrish. As for martial arts I prefer the less damaging arts of Tai Chi. Slower but more mentally stimulating BTW the name actually is Max as well.

Hey, congratulations, MM, you got to Mueno status! I think you're the first one, since CJ and Mouse were fasttracked to their own little statuses. Did someone say Ibis? *dons T-shirt with '#1 Ibis Fan - pleas don't kill me, Pat!' on it* ;D

Who'd have thought there'd actually be a reward for shooting my mouth off all the time?

Hey, i'm Kayne.
a.k.a. Huon a.k.a. Azrael a.k.a. the guy with the sweet (or gross, depending on ur fashion sense) hat a.k.a. George at the local juice bar cos they can never spell my real damn name right. I like music, food, books and writing....oh and Larry Hein. Barkeeping, sharp dressing, whisky loving player... my favourite.
BTW mouse, what neck of Oz are u from? i'm currently sweltering in that overgrown hicktown, Brisbane ... no offence meant Ms. de Peirres.

Townsville. I hate the climate with much vengeance. The first sixteen years of my life were spent much further south, which explains my aversion to humidity and heat. Give me frost and fog anyday!

Larry is great. I love the idea of Torleys, with the tactiles and everything - you probably noticed with the url of this place. ;D

My question is quite simple, really.
If Daac's arse is so damn fine, then why the hell are there any points on it any way?
I mean, really, how good can his arse be if there are lumpy, pointy bits all over it?
I always got the impression that it was smoothness of arse one was looking for, not pointyness.
