Hi guys,
I've been checking this forum a couple of times a week for the last month and I CAN'T SEE ANYTHING HAPPENING!
So what's doing in your world?

Cower mortals for I am a moderator now!
But seriously. I'm sure we can find something to jolt this forum into action.

OK Stellar you asked for it Here's a list of my current projects: Chaos Space due out in November. Mirror Space deadline Dec 5th (working intensely on). Unamed novel - crime/para/funny/romance set in Perth finished and about to go to my agent. Burn Bright - teen/dark/gothic/sf/fantasy - about to go out to publishers Stalking Daylight - SF film project has finally reached option stage and about to send out a media release. Nothing Sweet About Me (working title for an anthology I'm editing with Lynne Jamneck) - para/adv/sexy all stories set in Australia with strong female protags. With agent and I hope about to go out to pubs. I will have a novella in this. ? Space - final Sentients book due next Dec. So I hope what all this means is that in the next few years I'm going to have a swag of stuff on the shelves. So stay tuned guys, I promise I haven't been slacking. The fourth Parrish book will come after Sentients is finished. MDP

YAY PERTH! I knew you were Perth-spawn, Marianne. It's just nice to see my place of residence in fiction. Me: I lost my job of three years in February and ever since have been working a get-you-by job for a group that sells mobiles and telecoms in business space. I have also been painting and telling a lot of jokes to people who will listen. I aim to take a three month holiday next year to head back to England and check out some family roots. I have also been teaching myself White Mice's Fantastic Battles. What I'd like to be doing: Writing something I am not going to lose interest in, telling jokes for a living and playing with shares to supplement my income.

My turn! Sad that I'm doing this from Canberra not Melbourne but that's the Navy's fault.
Working really weird hours since I finished my training and moved up here. But it gives me lots of time for doing my own thing. Putting together two submissions for a Canberra writers guild anthology that's coming out. Need to get them critted though.
Still trying to get this book together, writing about a chapter a month at the moment and I'm not happy with that. Some friends are pressuring me to start a comic, it might happen but I just end up reading Jhonen Vasquez stuff and getting sidetracked.
And waiting for M's new stuff to come out. I keep going back to her old stuff and wanting more.
