oookay so i didnt do things the way i said i'd do it, but i still think things worked out the thumbnail is to see it at a higher resolution which i think is worth it for detail ;D its my first attempt at corel painter so bare with the lack of right ingredients, freehand pencil drawing Corel painter photoshop wacom graphics tablet (my new baby!) and a hell of alot of music 7 - 9 hours i'd say in total not bad i think for the first try, the backgrounds a tad cheesy but i think Parrish distracts from that, well i hope so ;D let us know what you think

thanks Marianne i'll send you a version for your desktop if you'd prefer glad you like it sheyana i wish i cud focus on a few more Parrish concepts but with time slipping by i have to do portfolio ground work for the next while (observational drawing etc blah!), so alot of my own art is gonna be put on the backburner but that doesnt mean no more just not many

That is simply stunning. I'v sat for ages trying to come up with some constructive criticism and all I can think of is "She might be better with slightly bigger eyes"!
We're not worthy...

CJ, you are god. *worships* I love this so much, the colouring and the expression and pretty much everything else... Whenever I read Parrish now, this is how I'll think of her.

Can't wait to see what you do next! I really love this one, and personally don't see anything wrong with the angle. I think it works wonderfully with her intense expression. Makes you wonder just who/what she's got her gaze fixed on. I'm so glad you liked my pic, and I'd be more than happy to help if you decide to try Poser. I've only been using Poser 6 for a few months now (I started out with Poser Pro Pack) and have only scratched the surface of what it can do, but I can help with the basics, or at the very least point you to the best sites for forums, tutorials, free stuff, etc.
