Hello everyone, new member here (Although Chirugal should recognise me, oh yes...) Currently read Nylon Angel and Code Noir - Starting Crash as soon as I can. Hope to see you around the forum (Although I am a terrible lurker-type)

Heya Kuja, It's great to see someone new!
Don't worry about being a lurker, (insert russian accent) we have ways of making you talk! (end russian accent)
The forum seems to be a bit dormant at the mo, so please start a thread/ train of discussion in one of the threads!!

*faint* A post! Good god! Everyone, that's Teh Kuja, who lives roughly ten steps down the hallway from me. I have corrupted her. ^_^

Hi there Teh Kuja, so glad to hear a voice. Things have had a bit of a flat spot. Tell us about student life.
I had a crazy day yesterday. Went with my husband and three boys to a motorcycle riding park. The trip was meant to take 2.5 hrs. It took 5.5 hours to get there and 6 to get home (left at 8 am and got home at midnight!). My backside is numb and I've got white line fever. Aaagh. All in the name of 'fun'.
It's times like these that you get to acknowledge how BIG Australia is. The upside was I got a great look at Mars which is really big and red at the moment.
Welcome to the Patch!
Marianne

Did you take a scenic detour or something Marianne? I think if it took me 5.5 hours to get anywhere I'd find somewhere to stay for the night and come back the next day! That is lazy me though, so take it with the grain of sugar it deserves

Don't worry, i'm probably the worst lurker here. This is my first post in about 2 or 3 months. Good to "see" you, hello everyone else, and i'll try and come out of the shadows more often.

"this song is about the greatest city in the world - Moscow!" it's from Moskau by Rammstein. Doesn't mean much, but it sounds really cool in the song.

Hi there Teh Kuja, so glad to hear a voice. Things have had a bit of a flat spot. Tell us about student life. Well I think Chirugal is better for that than me, since she will agree I never do anything. However, I will oblige with a bit of thread necromancy and post elsewhere to try and revive things. Thank you for all the welcomes! ;D

Wow... I thought this place was dead - I was just about to start changing things round in the hopes of enticing you back! While I'm here - I spoke to Mouse the other week (as you know, she's kind of absent at the moment) and she said she can't get to the Patch, for some reason. I've told her to try from another computer and see if that works, but as yet she's not gotten back to me. Just thought I'd let you know she's not abandoned us.

Hi Chir,
on that subject...a few people have had trouble with the log in. Not sure what that is about???
Looking around at some other boards they tend to run book clubs etc. Has anyone got any ideas for stuff you would like to do on the board? Now's the time to speak up.
I'm also going to get a button set up on my website as a proper link to here.
I deliver my new book in January so I'm right in the grips of the finale.
cheers M

Other people have had problems too? Hmmm... weird. I'll have a look around and see if I can contact Proboards. Good luck with delivering the book, Marianne - is it all going well? Once it's published I'll make a board for the series. I was thinking of condensing the Parrish related boards down a bit - just cause we don't use them much. And on a couple of other forums I'm on there's a board for little games and stuff (word association threads, random post threads, three-word-stories, etc). Might be fun to get to know each other that way - what do you guys think?
