OK gang I just started and finished Code Noir in one sitting so now I know who Tulu and Del Morte actually are so to put my two cents in I must say the obvious answer has to be Leesa Tulu, though I must confess I wouldn't have minded seeing a bit more of Wombat/Del Mort/ Ike.
I do have a question though, where on earth did you get inspiration for the epox'eed ones from, one of the most original bits I've ever come across(not saying my experience is any thing special btw).
I especially liked the corruption of the optic towers and the crawl and the awakening of the the Dis reminded me of the nanites in Blood Music by Greg Bear (one of my faves).
Bravo is all I can say, I read a few american reviews a few weeks ago (imagine my surprise to find you lived a couple of suburbs away) which got me interested in the books in the first place and I must say the review didn't do the book any justice.
Any way enough beatification, I must be off and edit my short story so as I put it up here, to put my money where my mouth is so to speak. Till then cheerio ;)Gawd I sound english.
Maybe I should put a spoiler warning on the front of this one?

I still can't work out how to reply properly. How do you get the original text smaller? Anyway... Thanks IDC - the epoxy was just one of those ideas that jumped from my brain to the page without invitation. CN was a darker book than NA. Glad you enjoyed it. I'd be interested if you could remember where the American reviews were as it's not out in the US until July. Always nice to here a bit of publicity is happening. MDP

Wait until Chirugal gets back from holidays! MDP *lol* Good to know my reputation's around even when I'm not! I promise I do think more about the books than the relationships, I just always forget all the philosophical thoughts I have...

Daac is the worst, others may be more evil or stronger, but I'd prefer the enemy you know than the one you don't, manipulative and secretive people are far more dangerous.

Io Lang.
It's the name, like Lo Pan in 'Big Trouble in Little China'
And he's a shape shifter. *doom* *doom* Your mother.. Could really be Io Lang!
(btw, Jack Burton rules!)

Definitely Daac. Any fanatic has more evil potential than someone just out for gain or power. They do it because they believe.

Is Daac really evil or just a fanatic? I have to preface that with the fact that I haven't read Crash yet but could his motives for the lying and his treatment of Parrish be his fanaticism?
I still can't get Tingle Honeybee out of my head though after reading code noir, who does she think she is?

Haven't read Noir yet, myself, so my vote's going for Daac. Though...I may be antagonizing him for his psychotic mindset. So he's a TAD poofy...doesn't mean he's evil. But still...
