Hmmm... I don't know about all four ravelled into one. I'll still stick by Kelley Armstrong as my favourite non-Marianne adult author, but that's werewolf-centric with none of the futuristic cyberpunky stuff. :s

And I am over Anita.. She is repetitive and her love triangle or square now..is giving me the shits. 11 books of her just getting nastier *yawn*.. so with u there. i read about 6 and then was like there is only so much vampire, werewolf necomancer 3-way porn a guy can take (beleive it or not there is a limit)

I know... even I have my limits, and I am the Undisputed Queen of Perv around here! (yes I AM! Bow before me! ;D)
If I see Incubus Dreams in the library, or it's going cheap, I'll get it. Otherwise I'll avoid...

I've just finished reading "Storm Front" by Jim Butcher and i've really enjoyed it. It's kinda like the Anita Blake books i.e. a modern world like ours yet filled wiht magic and magical creatures, yet (fortunately) the main character isn't as annoying nor has such a bloody stupid ridicoulously complicated love life.

I haven't heard of that one, but will keep my eyes open for it!
... if I spend any more money on books I'll have no cash at all when I go on holiday! >_<

Well, she isn't quite dead.. people just want her dead.. heres the synopsis: All the creatures of the night gather in "the Hollows" of Cincinnati, to hide, to prowl, to party ... and to feed. Vampires rule the darkness in a predator-eat-predator world rife with dangers beyond imagining -- and it’s Rachel Morgan's job to keep that world civilized. A bounty hunter and witch with serious sex appeal and an attitude, she'll bring 'em back alive, dead ... or undead. But when you realize she has a pixie for back up, and a vampire who wants to suck her dry for a partner in crime.. it turns into a funny romp through the world of the supes.. I like it better than Blakey... Oh yes.. square.... oh A... OH AS... OH ... oh.. sorry, shouldn't spoil the ride.. lol... ;D ;D Definitely like to read this one, think I saw a review on sfsite a fair while ago, but never actually seen it. Not released in Australia maybe? Would have to ask a shop person I suppose.

Yes, that long last one, definitely seemed more like porn with a bit of plot, than the other way around.

I tried to find some Anita Blake novels yesterday at my local library because I haven't read any in a long time but they didn't have any. Maybe the books are raunchy for a public place? hehe.

He doesn't have nearly as many guns either. Wasn't too bad a book.

I just read the second in the series they're not really easy to buy in my area> I got both from a specialist bookseller.
