Heh heh. Eddy from Tekken is the reason how I came upon this marvelous sport! ;D I'm doing the conditioning for Capoeira so I'm not actually in the competitions or anything. Besides of which, I got this excellent book on Capoeira, "Capoeira Conditioning" by Gerard Taylor. When I first tried doing a bananeira(handstand), I placed my head on the ground and then pushed my body up. Bad for the head and neck. Three days later, I was able to go into a bananeira with ease holding for ten seconds. There's still plenty I have to learn from the book but it has excellent illustration and descriptions. All you need is the room to perform all the various exercises(So much more fun to do a bananaeira pushup than a bench press). Then there is Parkour which I'm slowly starting to get into. www.urbanfreeflow.com/fundamentals/wallrun/index.htmI was doing that today. It's so easy to do! (At least for me) Mix both those elements up and I'll be a hard hand to beat when it comes to espionage and infiltration. But to answer your question is Capoeira is as easy as it looks... Nope. Not without the proper conditioning.

Hee! Yay for Tekken! I have great respect for you if you can do even the simple stuff that I've seen on that game... it looks like a real strain on the arms and a proper test of balance! Love that wall-run how-to, as well! They make it look so easy...
