Oh, perhaps I should introduce myself?
The names Ian, but I much prefer Astian and have many in practice of calling me that (hence also my username).
I am an amateur writer and have mainly been in habit of writing fanfiction, though I do have a few short story original works and a novel I am in the process of creating. It'll probably take me awhile, because I tend to get writer's block often, without motivation to write from others.
I met Marianne de Pierres at BrisVagas' SupaNova 2007, and from there have picked up her books and really love them.
So, by association, here I am. XD

I write a lot of different fanfiction actually, but mainly it's game or anime related.
I do participate in an X-Men based RP to which isn't all that bad. It keeps my writing skills from rusting.. but I haven't done anything there in awhile.. been getting lazy I think. I need to get back into the swing of things. *nods*

Who am I to buck the trend? ;D I'm calling myself Stellar here, but I have several other names I use at times. I've posted a few times here now. I'm more of a fan than a writer. I do have an idea for a book, but lack the commitment to see it through to anything more than a few notes and sketches in my notebook. I'm a dedicated MDP fan and have all three Parrish books, the first Dark Space book and the Nylon Angel RPG. I game regularly with some friends and my favourites are Exalted, Alternity (old school), Starship Troopers, Vampire: The Requiem and really anything more on the darker side. I dress a bit goth most of the time. I have several latent ambitions including being a standup comic, writer and being able to do what I want with my life instead of having to worry about paying the bills. The reception has been pretty good here so far, but I've let something slip in a recent post and I'm interested what the reaction will be.

Stellar. welcome to the ever growing group of people who think it would be great to be a writer, but can't seem to commit to writing anything very long. ;D The reception has been pretty good here so far, but I've let something slip in a recent post and I'm interested what the reaction will be. Now you've got me worried - I haven't noticed anything that I might react to negatively, or really at all apart from replying with my opinion/whatever. That might just be because I'm a uni student, and before 10.30 in the morning I don't function at any appreciable level.

Hi Marianne, No, I'm not "Kendra". I'm not even sure who that is. Sheyana, it was in another post. Read my entries in the topic in the "You know you're a Parrishverse fan when..." thread carefully and you'll get the hint (well, maybe). I'm to busy being cryptic.

Hi Folks, My name is Steve Hendry, I go by either Train or Steve, and I've just joined your group. I have authored American Samurai published by WildChild, and Leapfrog published by Medallion. Leapfrog is a futuristic science fiction novel based on known physics. The fantasy guys will be disappointed by the lack of dragons and dungeons, but not to worry, I've concocted up some other rather unpleasant beasts to keep you on edge. I'm an avid reader of Sci Fi and look forward to eventually meeting all of you. Thanks for having me. Train www.stevehendry.com
