He's a horror writer, but his books seem to involve violent murder during sex... :s

Its release date says 28 of september, but thats in the US and i think Australia, i dunno bout here but i heard it will be in the uk and ireland probably by christmas dont hold my word on that! Its called Incubus Dreams Heres a description, (but nothing given away!) "In the latest novel , a vampire serial killer who preys on strippers is on the loose. Called in to consult on the case, Anita fears her judgment may be clouded by a conflict of interest and does something unprecedented--she calls for help." i dunno how accurate that description is, just got it from a book site! I CAN'T WAIT! ;D ;D

You need to be reading 'Dead Witch Walking' by Kim Harrison.. It is just delicious..
And I am over Anita.. She is repetitive and her love triangle or square now..is giving me the shits. 11 books of her just getting nastier *yawn*.. But I still read em of course! hehe... Do you read Laurell K Hamilton's other series? The one with the fairy people? It is just sex on paper.. Boy oh boy, try to keep your mother's clear of that one.. mine's hair nearly caught on fire, and thought I was disgusting... I tried to tell her owning my own place made me mature enough to read what I like, but she still tried to confiscate em.. hhehehe

oh no, but its soooo cool! Anita just Rules! i mean Jean Claude and Richard, how cud you pick (dont hint at squares to me i havent gotten that far yet ) I know she's kinda been stuck in that decision for ages, but its tooo hard to chose! and i like how she's gettin badder, usually in series they are all bad ass in the bigining and you figure out why, but in this you follow her turing into a bad ass! (or more of one) whats 'Dead Witch Walking' about?? methinks a dead witch, walking!

Well, she isn't quite dead.. people just want her dead..
heres the synopsis:
All the creatures of the night gather in "the Hollows" of Cincinnati, to hide, to prowl, to party ... and to feed.
Vampires rule the darkness in a predator-eat-predator world rife with dangers beyond imagining -- and it’s Rachel Morgan's job to keep that world civilized.
A bounty hunter and witch with serious sex appeal and an attitude, she'll bring 'em back alive, dead ... or undead.
But when you realize she has a pixie for back up, and a vampire who wants to suck her dry for a partner in crime.. it turns into a funny romp through the world of the supes.. I like it better than Blakey...
Oh yes.. square.... oh A... OH AS... OH ... oh.. sorry, shouldn't spoil the ride.. lol... ;D ;D

The Pixie, her back up, sits in her hoop earring and makes fun of her amateurish ways.. he is the coolest little dude ever... and he has a wife.. and a whole little family of pixie babies at home.. hehehe.. Hold up, this square issue, its more like a triangle within a square... you see... The kleenex man is quite the friend of Jean Claude's... QUITE the friend if you know what I mean *wink wink knudge knudge* I got an email from Orbit today advertising Tanya Huff.. www.orbitbooks.co.uk/orbit/display.asp?K=510000000007616&M=1&TAG=B4DAUX6X19698899417ICT&CID=orbit&WHERE=((CTITLE%20PH%20WORDS%20'blood%20price'))&SS=((CTITLE%20PH%20WORDS%20'blood%20price'))&DC=1&SORT=SORT_DATE/D&MW=2 I like the Henry the VIIIth spin... I think her novels were published in the US yonkers ago, they are only know spreading to the more Rule Brittania side of the shores..

First off no more cracks about Mills & Boon 'cause whether I like it or no, not only does my mother read them she also writes them. i know, I know, but what can I say? It's not like I'm reading them.
Any way as for the Anita Blake question, is there a concensus on which of the genre is the best to read next, I just finished Umberto Eco and its definately time for some lighter fair after i finish the William Gibson's Idoru.
Seeing as the gang is well versed in this area I'm looking for (Vampires, Werewolves, World of Darkness/Cyberpunk crossover). What does the gang reccomend as my next reading material?
