This was emailed to Marianne, who asked me to pass it on. It's from aroestenburg's animated Parrish project...

Pretty damn cool, if you ask me!

Hi Adam,

I haven't worked out how to embed stuff myself. Sheyana or Jamie might know. Chir's offline at the moment.

Thanks for posting all that. I LOVE what you're going to use for Torley's.

Hope you don't mind me making a small suggestion. Jamon's ears make him look a little pixie-ish which may give a different impression of the world ie more straight fantasy than near future.

Looking forward to seeing more.

Hi Adam, to embed pictures (if I understand what you mean by embed) you just use (without the spaces)

http://webaddress

YouTube...you use (again without the spaces)

http://webaddress

Hope that helps!!

Shey

Oh, great pictures of Jamon by the way, and the building is cool! I cant wait to see what the finished product is!

Hi Adam,

this is a good, strong face that works well with the Riko character. Nice fangs. Pointy ears again though. Maybe I'm wrong but I think everytime you use them you are signalling that they are fantasy creatures not futuristic. I see a big difference between the two in imagery.

Hello to all who have followed this thread. Enjoy the results of 9 months of planning and hard work from the PNA team. Adam Roestenburg, Blake Tomlinson, Robson Vieria and Nik Heykal. Sorry for the delay in posting. I have been abroad for 4 months.

Thank you to Marianne De Pierres, for a wonderful story and wicked cool character.

Hmmm... I don't know if it's just me having trouble with the YouTube embed - if anyone else is, click here for the actual page.

I absolutely love this vid. I would sit down and watch an entire movie, or play an entire game, based on that. ^_^ Well done for crafting something amazing!

Glad you like it gang.

Ottawa results, made it to the preliminary finals on technical achievement.

coming in at 1.37 I think they wanted to see more for final placings.

We're happy with the mention of our technical feats as again it was our first go. =)

Can't believe I missed this thread until now. Nice to see even though, like others, I guess I have my own "vision" of certain of the environments and characters.

Since I have been doing 3D stuff for a good while now (over 15 years), would love to know some of the tech info about the animation. Software choice, hardware specs etc.

Would love to be involved in any future project on a collaborative basis - mainly an environment/archviz guy. Feel free to drop me a line if you ever decide to do more and need a hand.
